With Tsehay Cards, customers can access their account/s through ATM and make payments online and at POS terminals.

  

1. Domestic Debit Cards

Tsehay debit card allows customers access accounts through ATM or pay for goods and services through POS terminals.

Tsehay Classic Debit Card

Tsehay Classic Debit Card is issued to account holders with 24/7 access to account.

Product Features

• The maximum fund ceiling on card is balance on customer’s account
• The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit from ATM is Birr 10,000
• The maximum daily fund transfer limit on ATM is Birr 100,000
• The maximum daily payment or purchase limit on POS is Birr 350,000
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia
• The card will have five years of usage period.

Eligibility

• Customers whose age is 18 years or above
• Saving account holders with the authority to operate the account individually
• Current account holders in the name of individuals or sole proprietorship
• Accounts with “AND/OR” entitlements

 

Tsehay Gold Debit Card

Tsehay Gold Debit Card is issued to gold level business and premium customers.

Product Features

• The maximum fund ceiling on card is balance on customer’s account
• The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit from ATM is Birr 30,000
• The maximum daily fund transfer limit on ATM is Birr 200,000
• The Maximum daily payment or purchase limit on POS is Birr 500,000
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia
• The card will have five years of life to be expired

Eligibility

• Business and Premium Customers having saving or current account with the authority to operate the account individually

2. Domestic Prepaid Cards

Prepaid cards are issued to account holders or non-account holders once the value of such card is paid in advance by the customer.

Domestic Reloadable Prepaid Cards

Tsehay reloadable prepaid cards are general purpose classic cards issued to serve the general interest of our customers.

Product Features

• The card is not linked to any personal bank account, but it’s personalized
• The card can be used by individuals or companies in replacement of cash or cheque
• The maximum fund ceiling on card is the pre-set denomination value
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia
• The card will have five years of life to be expired

Eligibility

• Individuals whose age is 18 years/above whether they have account with the Bank or not
• Companies that require the service

Domestic Non-Reloadable Prepaid Cards

Tsehay non-reloadable prepaid cards are issued to customers in partnership with various service providing companies.

Product Features

• Cards are non-personalized and not linked to any personal bank account
• The card can be used by individual customers or companies
• The maximum fund ceiling on card is the pre-set denomination value
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia
• The card will have five years of life to be expired

• Individuals whose age is 18 years/above whether they have account with the Bank or not
• Companies that require the service

3. Domestic Credit Cards

Tsehay Credit Card is presented to allow customers borrow fund of a certain limit and use to pay for goods and services.

Tsehay Classic Credit Card

Product Features

• The card is issued to allow customers borrow and use funds from the Bank
• Ceiling limit of fund to be borrowed shall be set by the Bank
• The credit card loan will have a maximum of six months to be matured
• The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit from ATM is Birr 10,000
• The maximum daily fund transfer limit on ATM is credit limit on the card
• The maximum daily payment or purchase limit on POS is limit on card
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia

Eligibility

• Ethiopian citizen whose age is 18 years and above
• Permanent employee of an organization whose salary is paid through Tsehay Bank S.C

 

Tsehay Gold Credit Card

Tsehay Gold Credit Card is issued to business and premium customers.

Product Features

• The card is issued to allow customers borrow and use funds from the Bank
• Ceiling limit of fund to be borrowed shall be set by the Bank
• The credit card loan will have a maximum of one year to be matured
• The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit from ATM is Birr 30,000
• The maximum daily fund transfer limit on ATM is limit on card
• The maximum daily payment limit on POS is limit on card
• The card is valid only in Ethiopia
