Tsehay Bank is a share company established on July 23, 2022 with business license issued as per the banking business proclamation no. 592/2008.It commenced operation with an authorized capital of Birr 2.8 billion and paid-up capital of 734 million Birr. It comprises a limited number of 373 shareholders.
The Bank held its first Annual General Assembly at Sheraton Addis Hotel on February 18, 2021 with colorful momentum. On July 23, 2022 the bank officially started operations with 30 branches spread in Addis Ababa and throughout the country and has now reached at 65+ branches.
Tsehay Bank`s Shareholders also held their 1st Ordinary and 1st Extraordinary General Assembly on December 17, 2022 at Sheraton Addis Hotel. Extensive discussions were held on the bank`s signed capital and elevated it to five billion birr and endorsed it unanimously.
