Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) is the commitment that an organization or a business firm vows to its customers more generally to the public. In doing so, the business firm builds its image positively than gaining financial or material benefits in return for it fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. So, it is possible to say that CSR is a strategic element in businesses like bank sectors.

To discharge its CSR Tsehay Bank has done a lot since its inception. Even though it is new to the banking sector, it has allocated millions of birr to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. The Bank is continuing to do so in alleviating poverty, maintaining the environment, empowering women, and ensuring the capacity of people with disabilities and others.

Joy Autistic Center, Gergesenon Association for Supporting Mental Disorders, and the Children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia were among the very first beneficiaries of Tsehay Bank`s Corporate Social Responsibility.
